Buying new computer gear is always more expensive than I envisioned. There's backup, cable management, ergonomics (read: raising the monitor), etc. Luckily, I opted for a minimal setup—e.g. no sound, no fancy input devices, like a drawing tablet—as plain vanilla as possible. 👨💻
